🔄 When to Reset Agreements
When you make a meaningful change to a system or policy, the previous sign-offs no longer reflect the current content. For audit and compliance purposes, you need the team to acknowledge the new version. Reset Agreements clears all existing sign-offs and prompts every assigned member to re-agree.
Use this feature when:
- A policy has been substantively rewritten, not just a typo fix.
- A safety procedure has changed.
- A compliance review has resulted in updated content.
- An audit requires evidence that the team has seen the current version.
Do NOT use this feature:
- After a minor edit, such as formatting, typo, or link fixes.
- For low-stakes systems where the audit trail is not critical.
- More than once for the same change, as resetting multiple times causes the team to start ignoring re-sign requests.
🚀 How to Reset Agreements
- Open the updated system or policy document.
- Navigate to the right panel and click View Agreement Log.
- Click Reset.
- Confirm your choice in the pop-up window to clear existing active sign-offs.
💡 Pro Tip: Optionally, click Notify before or after the reset to automatically email everyone that a re-sign is needed.
📜 What Happens to the Audit Trail?
Resetting does not delete your compliance history. The Agreement Log safely keeps a permanent record of:
- All previous sign-offs, preserved exactly as they were completed.
- The reset event, including the timestamp and details of who triggered it.
- New sign-offs completed going forward.
Compliance auditors can see the full timeline, including who agreed when, when the reset happened, and who re-agreed.
📈 Tracking Re-Sign Progress
After resetting your agreements, monitor your team's compliance progress:
- Check the View Agreement Log on the document to see who has re-signed and who has not.
- Click Notify to send a direct email reminder specifically to those who have not responded.
- Use the Members Sign-Off Report across the whole account to see all open re-sign items in one centralized place.
For high-stakes resets, set yourself a calendar reminder to chase non-responders within a week.
🔐 Who Can Reset Agreements?

- Admin: Can reset agreements on any system across the platform.
