Assigning Training

This video explains how to assign and track team member progress with training modules.

 

1. Notify via Comments (The "At" Tag)

For a quick, informal notification—or to highlight a specific part of a training module—use the comments section:

  • Tag the Member: Type the @ symbol followed by the person's name (e.g., "@Lisa demo").

  • Give Instructions: Add a clear call to action, such as "Please complete this training by Friday."

  • Email Alert: The system will instantly send an email to that member with your message and a direct link to the training.


2. Formal Assignment and Notification

To ensure a team member is officially responsible for a training module:

  • Assign the Member: Use the Properties panel on the right-hand side to add the individual member or a specific Role to the training.

  • Send Notification: Click the Notify Members button in the sidebar. This sends a formal system email alerting them that new training has been assigned to their profile.


3. Use the Agreement Log for Accountability

Just like with Systems and Policies, Training modules include an Agreement Log (or Register). This is your digital proof of compliance:

  • Member Action: Once a team member completes the training, they can click an "Agree" or "Complete" button.

  • Audit Trail: The Agreement Log will display a list of all assigned members and a clear Yes/No status indicating whether they have formally agreed to or finished the material.

  • Manager Review: This allows you to see at a glance who is up to date and who might need a follow-up "nudge."
