How to Upload a Document or Attachment to a System
Learn how to enter edit mode, upload files to the attachments section, publish your changes, and manage your documents within a systemHUB system.
📝 1. Enter Edit Mode
To make changes to a system, you must first enable editing.
- Navigate to the specific System you wish to update.
- Click the Edit button at the top of the page to enter edit mode.
📎 2. Upload the Attachment
Scroll to the bottom of the system page to find the attachments section.
- Locate the File Attachments header.
- Click the Upload Files button.
- Select the document or file from your computer that you wish to attach.
📢 3. Save and Publish
Your changes will not be visible to the rest of the team until you publish them.
- Once the file has finished uploading, click Publish.
The document will now appear in the attachments section for all users with access to that system.
📂 4. Manage Your Files
After uploading, you can interact with the file or make changes:
- Preview: Click the file to view it in a preview window.
- Download: Use the download option if you need a local copy of the file.
- Replace/Remove: To switch out a document, return to Edit mode, remove the existing file, and upload a new one in its place.

Your files are now securely attached to your system, making it easy for your entire team to find and use the documents they need.
