Slow page load / app feels laggy

Learn how to quickly diagnose and fix systemHUB loading speeds using five quick checks, differentiate normal performance from technical issues, and optimize high-volume accounts.

⚡ The 60-Second Troubleshooting Checklist

If systemHUB is loading slowly, take 60 seconds to rule out the obvious causes before reporting it to support:

  • Test on a different network: Open systemHUB on your mobile device using mobile data, making sure to turn your Wi-Fi off briefly. If it loads quickly there, your office network or local corporate VPN is the bottleneck, not systemHUB.
  • Test in incognito mode: Certain web browser extensions can interact badly with web apps. Open systemHUB in an incognito or private window. If the platform speeds up, an extension is the cause, the usual culprits are aggressive ad blockers, privacy extensions, or password managers running on every keystroke.
  • Perform a hard refresh: Press Cmd + Shift + R on a Mac, or press Ctrl + F5 on a Windows keyboard. This completely clears your local browser cache and forces the page to reload fresh, which often resolves speed issues caused by stale cached data.
  • Update your browser: If your web browser is more than two major versions behind, update it immediately. Older browser engines struggle to run modern web applications efficiently.
  • Check the systemHUB status page: If you have ruled out all local causes and the platform is still slow, head over to our official status page to see if there is a known system issue. Slow performance affecting all users is rare but possible.

🔍 What is Normal vs What is Not

Understanding what requires processing power versus what signals a performance issue helps you determine when to reach out for support.

What is Normal:

  • Rich media loading: The very first load of an extensive system document containing multiple large, embedded videos can take a few seconds to fully render.
  • Large PDF exports: Generating an account-wide report, such as an Agreement Log spanning hundreds of systems, can take several minutes because this heavy data request is handled asynchronously in the background.
  • Large asset uploads: Uploading a raw 500MB video file over a slow Wi-Fi connection will naturally take a long time.

What is NOT Normal:

  • Sidebar navigation menus taking 5 or more seconds to respond to a click.
  • Core platform pages completely timing out or crashing before they load.
  • Repeatedly encountering spinning loading icons that never resolve.

If you are experiencing any of these "not normal" symptoms after completing our 60-second checklist, it is time to alert our team.
