Using the Native Browser Spell Checker

Did you know that modern browsers using HTML come with a built-in spell checker? Here's how it works inside systemHUB.

1. Access Your Browser Settings

systemHUB uses your browser’s native spell checker to help you catch typos. To enable this in Google Chrome:

  • Click the three vertical dots in the top right corner of your browser window.

  • Select Settings from the dropdown menu.

2. Enable Spell Check

Once in the settings menu, you need to locate the language tools:

  • Click Languages on the left-hand side panel.

  • Locate the Spell check section.

  • Toggle the switch to On.

  • Choose Your Level: You can select Basic spell check for standard corrections or Enhanced spell check to use the same technology found in Google Search.

3. Refresh systemHUB

To ensure the new settings are applied to your current workspace:

  • Go back to your systemHUB tab.

  • Reload the page (click the refresh icon or press F5).

4. Use Spell Check in Your Systems

You can now use this feature in any text editing area, such as Overview, Details, or Notes.

  • Start typing your content.

  • If you make a mistake, a red underline will appear beneath the misspelled word.

  • To Correct: Right-click the underlined word to see a list of suggested corrections and select the right one.
